Shelving System Installation – Buffalo, NY

We recently completed an installation of mobile warehouse shelving for a new retail store in Buffalo’s Walden Galleria mall. The system involves leveling and anchoring tracks to the floor, then building the shelving units on top of mobile carriages. Anti-tip brackets connect the carriages to the track, making sure that the shelving units are thoroughly secured. A braking component assists the end user in moving and stopping each individual shelving unit, and is directly built into the track.

A mobile storage system maximizes storage space for smaller warehouse areas (such as this one inside a mall). Each unit can move left or right on a track, enabling the end user to have the aisle be anywhere needed. It also makes the installation more challenging, as there is very little room for staging and assembly. Another issue with this project was that certain necessary tools were banned during the hours the mall is open. Our crew overcame these challenges to complete installation of the mobile storage system a half day ahead of schedule.

We have provided shelving system installation of mobile units mainly for retail stores, but have also completed projects in medical offices, warehouses, and schools.

Store Fixture Installation – New Product Roll-out

We’ve been working with a Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 company, to roll-out their new product across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic US. The new Colorwall display system is replacing the previous model, we have been disassembling and removing the old display at each retail location. Our retail store fixture installation includes merchandising, as we hang graphics and load each display with product samples.

New retail store fixture, near Buffalo, NY

The large scope of this project has not been a concern, with more than 100 new retail store fixtures installed in our region. Installations have been performed in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Our retail store fixture installers have minimized disruption in each retail location through our efficient installations. We handle all scheduling associated with the roll-out, once we have the list of accounts and a delivery date, we schedule individually with each store, typically arriving a day or two after they receive their new store fixtures. While the initial flurry of installations has came and went, we continue to provide more installations of this store fixture. We also provide merchandise updating services as needed.  

School Furniture Installation – Rochester, NY

We recently completed a project for a charter school in Rochester, NY. We received, delivered, installed classroom furniture – desks and chairs – along with installing a new double reception desk. An issue with this project was that everything had to be stair carried, as the three story school building did not have an elevator. Our school furniture installation technicians had no issues and completed the project in one day, placing and installing the various classroom furniture. Office Furniture Installation – Canandaigua, NY

We recently completed an office furniture installation at the US Department of Veterans Affairs in Canandaigua, NY. The installation was completed in two phases, in neighboring buildings on the campus. Phase one of the project was installation of 52 standing height desks in a redesigned wing of the building. The desks were placed three or four to a room once installed, and then cabling had to be run for the standing height control box. This phase of the project was scheduled for two days; however, it was completed in just one day. Des Phase two of the project involved receiving, delivering, and installing various office furniture for a new wing devoted to patient rooms and employee space. The space included a receptionist desk, waiting room furniture, office desks, a conference table, and seating. The installation was completed on the same day as the delivery. The project was completed in only two days, instead of the three days required by the client.
